Corim's Thoughts
I'm glad that's over. Kelestri's restless nature got us out of that dead end tomb.( I guess that should be funny.) There was no sign of any orcs when we climbed back into the temple. I can't seem to locate any of those stones once I drop them. At least we could have seen better on the way out.
Once we were outside, it was a completely different situation. There was a group of orcs in the clearing, we hit them fast and hard. They didn't even get a chance to strike back. This new short sword is very interesting, to put it mildly. According to what Bromar said, it is an ancient Dwarven weapon, forged to slay orcs. I believe it. It was as though it pulled it's way through the orcs that I hit. The damage it inflicted was phenomenal.
I think I'll keep it. Yeah, I really do. We sped back to Respite Run from there and were received quite warmly. Marina was overjoyed to find Alyona well, and rewarded us with our own horses. I got the black mare that I borrowed earlier. I will name her Shadowin. She is a very nice horse. I guess we'll be heading to Many Oaks next, to warn them of the impending orc attack. We talked about calling ourselves something. I suggested "The Company of Light and Darkness", but in the end, no one could agree. I don't think we will be together much longer.
I think I'll go buy myself some nicer traveling clothes and a few odds and ends. I can't believe the amount of money I still have.

Not together much longer? I thought the DM cast that spell, er, which one was it... oh! Begin Adventure!
